Cetirizine Dihydrochloride Tablets are a non-drowsy antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergies such as hay fever, pet allergies, and dust mite reactions. They work by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance released during an allergic reaction that causes itching, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.

Cetirizine can also help reduce itching and swelling in skin allergies and hives (urticaria). The tablets are usually taken once daily and provide relief for up to 24 hours. Cetirizine is generally well tolerated and allows most people to carry on with daily activities without feeling sleepy.
