Gaviscon Liquid for Acid Reflux is designed to relieve symptoms of heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion. It contains sodium alginate, which forms a soothing, protective raft that floats on top of the stomach contents, helping to prevent acid from flowing back into the oesophagus. It also includes potassium bicarbonate, which neutralises excess stomach acid, providing fast and lasting relief.

The liquid works quickly to ease the burning sensation and discomfort associated with reflux. It is usually taken after meals and at bedtime. Suitable for adults and children over 12 years, it can also be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding under medical guidance.
