Fucibet Cream contains two active ingredients: betamethasone valerate, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, and itching, and fusidic acid, an antibiotic that targets certain bacteria, particularly Staphylococcus aureus. This combination is used to treat inflamed skin conditions, such as eczema or dermatitis, when they are infected or at risk of becoming infected.

Betamethasone works by calming the body’s inflammatory response, while fusidic acid kills the bacteria causing or aggravating the skin problem. Fucibet Cream is applied thinly to the affected area, usually one to two times daily, for a short course. It should only be used as directed by a healthcare professional.
