Nefopam Tablets
Nefopam tablets are a non-opioid painkiller used to relieve moderate pain, such as pain after surgery, muscle or joint pain, and nerve-related discomfort. Unlike NSAIDs or opioids, nefopam works by affecting the way the brain and nerves perceive pain, increasing pain threshold without reducing inflammation.
It is particularly useful when other pain relief options are unsuitable or need to be combined for better effect. Nefopam is usually taken up to three times daily, with doses spaced evenly, and can cause side effects such as nausea or dizziness in some people. It is intended for short-term or as-needed pain management.
