Aknemycin Plus is a topical acne treatment that combines erythromycin, an antibiotic, with tretinoin, a form of vitamin A. Erythromycin works by reducing the bacteria that contribute to acne (Cutibacterium acnes), while tretinoin helps to unclog pores, reduce excess oil, and promote skin cell renewal.
