Lyclear 5% Dermal Cream is a topical treatment for scabies infestations. It contains permethrin, an insecticide that kills the mites causing the condition and their eggs. Applied over the whole body (excluding the head in most adults) and left for a prescribed period, it works by disrupting the mites’ nervous system, leading to their elimination. One application is often sufficient, although a second treatment may be needed.
