It contains hydrocortisone, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, swelling, and itching, and cinchocaine, a local anaesthetic that numbs the area to relieve pain and discomfort. Applied directly to the affected area, Proctosedyl helps ease symptoms and promote healing, making it easier to carry out daily activities.
